Saved notes and highlights are accessible both in context where they were saved (e.g. in a specific Research Folder) as well as in a general repository on the IntelliConnect Document Notes tab.
To view documents with saved notes from the Document Notes tab:
Click the Document Notes option in the Quick Bar located above the Browse menu. Links to all the documents with saved notes are displayed.
Click a document title to open the document. You can also click a link in the Note text column to open a document and jump right to the first note it contains. Similarly, you can click a link in the Referenced text column to open a document and jump to the first section of text referenced by a note, if applicable.
You can search through all notes on the Document Notes tab by typing terms in the Search Notes box in the left pane. Simply type a keyword into the box and click . You will see any hits that are found highlighted in yellow in the Note text column on the right.
To clear the search results and return to the full list of notes, click Clear Search next to the Search Notes box.
You also have several ways to filter the documents with saved notes.
Filter by location
Click the All link to display all documents with saved notes. This includes your personal copy documents (i.e., your annotated documents that are automatically saved in the system) and any annotated documents stored in your research folders or any shared research folders you have access to.
Click the My locations link to display only the documents that you maintain.
Filter by contributor
Click the All link to display all saved documents with saved notes. This includes your notes and any notes your colleagues have added to documents in shared research folders.
Click the My notes link to display only the documents with your saved notes.
Click the Other people’s notes link to display only the documents with saved notes by those other than you. This includes only those notes your colleagues have added to documents in Shared Research Folders.
