Sharing a Research Folder

With IntelliConnect, you can share a Research Folder you have created with selected colleagues. Sharing a Research Folder allows greater collaboration while performing research. Sharing a Research Folder with colleagues allows them to view the documents contained in the folder. Depending on the share settings you assign to a folder, colleagues can add documents to the folder or remove documents from the folder.

Note: Shared Research Folders may not be available within your subscription. If you have questions, please contact customer service or your sales representative.

To share a Research Folder:

Any Research Folders you created previously are displayed in the left pane, and the contents of the currently selected Research Folder are shown in the right pane.

Sharing with ALL Colleagues

Note: Click in the checkbox next to Email users when folder access is granted if you want an email automatically sent to colleagues when you share a Research Folder. When sharing with all colleagues, you will see a message asking you to confirm that you want to send an email to all members of your firm. If you choose No, the email option checkbox will be deselected.

Sharing with SELECTED Colleagues

Note: You can enter a date that you want the share permissions for the selected Research Folder to expire by typing it in the space provided.
